Want to learn more about Arduino? Dive into Arduino programming by building a robot with Alex Carrillo, BR ‘16 and CEID design aide. In just 2 hours, you will learn how to sense and react to stimuli from the physical world using the Arduino microcontroller, and be inspired by the endless capabilities of physical computing. No experience necessary, but curiosity and enthusiasm for hacking preferred.

Still working on that costume? Have an idea for a costume? Hungry for some sweet treats? Just need a break? Come by the CEID for candy, snacks, and music for an early Halloween! CEID staff will be on hand with materials and costume help -- sewing, laser cutting, etc.

It is a broad and photogenic survey of the top ten trends in modern timber engineering practice and their applicability to sustainable forest management.
